Jan Działyński (voivode, Born 1590)
Jan Działyński (1590–1648) of Gozdawa coat of arms was a Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth noble and politician. He was a member of the Działyński family. He was a starost of Pokrzywno, Puck, and Kowalewo Pomorskie, and Voivode of Chełmno from 1647 to 1648. He was a deputy to Sejm, a notable politician from Royal Prussia. He was a critic of Gdańsk, defender of Catholic faith, and founder of the collegium in Grudziądz. He is known to have been engaged in several court proceedings with various other nobles and even peasants. He married twice and had no children. Paweł Jan Działyński
Paweł Jan Działyński (1594–1643) was a Pomeranian Voivodeship (1466–1772), voivode of Pomerania from 1630 to 1643. He succeeded Samuel Konarski, and was himself followed by Gerhard Dönhoff, a member of the Dönhoff, Dönhoff family. Biography Działyński was the son of Mikołaj Działyński and Katarzyna Dulska. He married Jadwiga Czarnkowska, with whom he had daughters Katarzyna and Jadwiga and sons Adam, Jan, and Kazimierz. He was educated at the Jesuit College in Poznań, and in Padua. He became the starosta of Nowy Dwór Bratiański, Bratiańsk in 1613 with the permission of the King of Poland. He was also starost of Jasieniec, Pomeranian Voivodeship, Jasieniec, Kowal (town), Kowal and Skarszewy. Between 1604 and 1613 he was the delegate of regional szlachta of Chełm to the Polish Sejm.
