James New York – NoMad
The Hotel Seville NoMad (formerly the Seville Hotel, Carlton Hotel, and James New York NoMad) is a hotel at 22 East 29th Street, at the southwest corner with Madison Avenue in the NoMad neighborhood of Manhattan in New York City. The original 12-story hotel on Madison Avenue was completed in 1904 to designs by Harry Allan Jacobs. The 11-story annex to the west was designed by Charles T. Mott and completed in 1907, while a three-story annex at 88 Madison Avenue to the south was finished in 2004 and designed by the Rockwell Group. The hotel is a New York City designated landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The original portions of the hotel were designed in the Beaux-Arts style. The facade is divided horizontally into three sections and is largely made of brick, terracotta, and limestone above the first story. Constructed by the estate of the millionaire Andrew Freedman, it has been renovated into an artists' hub consisting of an interdisciplinary artist residency, an incubator space, workforce development and community services. The Hotel Marseilles (also known as the Marseilles) is a residential building at 2689–2693 Broadway (Manhattan), Broadway, on the corner with West 103rd Street, on the Upper West Side of Manhattan in New York City. Constructed between 1902 and 1905 as one of several apartment hotels along Broadway on the Upper West Side, the Marseilles was designed by architect Harry Allan Jacobs in the Beaux-Arts architecture, Beaux-Arts style. Rutgers Presbyterian Church
Rutgers Presbyterian Church is a Presbyterian house of worship in New York City. The church's origins date to 1798 in Lower Manhattan. The first church building was erected on a plot of ground donated by Colonel Henry Rutgers at the corner of what would become Henry and Rutgers Streets. The church building was paid for by contributions from the members. The original charter contained 107 names, and the first church building was dedicated on May 13, 1798. Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church (MAPC) is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA). The Emmet Building is a historic 16-story building located at 89–95 Madison Avenue at 29th Street (Manhattan), 29th Street, in the NoMad, Manhattan, NoMad neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. It was designed by John Stewart Barney and Stockton B. Colt of the architectural firm of Barney & Colt for Dr. Thomas Addis Emmet, a prominent gynecologist, gynecological surgeon who was also an author of books on Irish history. He was the son of Emmet John Patten (1796–1842), a chemistry professor at the University of Virginia who was born in Ireland and was the nephew of Robert Emmet, the advocate for Irish independence. The New York Life Building, also known as 51 Madison, is the headquarters of the New York Life Insurance Company at 51 Madison Avenue in the Rose Hill, Manhattan, Rose Hill and NoMad, Manhattan, NoMad neighborhoods of Manhattan in New York City. The building, designed by Cass Gilbert, abuts Madison Square Park and occupies an entire city block bounded by Madison Avenue, Park Avenue South, and 26th and 27th Streets.
