Jambaló
Jambaló () is a municipality and, at the same time, an indigenous reservation of Colombia. It is located in the northeastern department of Cauca, 80 kilometers north of the city of Popayán (the capital of the department). It borders on the north with the municipalities of Caloto and Toribío, on the east with the municipality of Páez, on the south with the municipality of Silvia and on the west with the municipalities of Caldono and Santander de Quilichao. Cauca Department
Cauca Department (, ) is a department of Southwestern Colombia. Located in the southwestern part of the country, facing the Pacific Ocean to the west, the Valle del Cauca Department to the north, Tolima Department to the northeast, Huila Department to the east, and Nariño Department to the south. Putumayo and Caqueta Departments border the southeast portion of Cauca Department as well. It covers a total area of , the 13th largest in Colombia. Its capital is the city of Popayán. The offshore island of Malpelo belongs to the department. The municipalities of Colombia are decentralized subdivisions of the Colombia, Republic of Colombia. Municipalities make up most of the departments of Colombia, with 1,104 municipality, municipalities (''municipios'').
