Jalan (TV Series)
''Jalan'' () is a Pakistani television series premiered on ARY Digital on 17 June 2020. It is directed by Aabis Raza and produced by Fahad Mustafa and Dr. Ali Kazmi under Big Bang Entertainment. It stars Minal Khan, Areeba Habib, Emmad Irfani and Fahad Sheikh. The first teaser of the series premiered on 3 June 2020. The serial received huge criticism due to its misogynistic and regressive approach. Plot Nisha (Minal Khan) and Misha (Areeba Habib) are two sisters who come from a middle-class background. Nisha is a selfish girl who is used to snatching better things from her sister which Misha gives her happily. Misha is nicknamed Meenu by her family. Nisha likes her cousin Ahmer (Fahad Sheikh) who loves her intensely and becomes engaged to her. Later Asfandyar's (Emaad Irfani) proposal comes for Meenu. Bimal Jalan
Bimal Jalan (born 17 August 1941) is a former Governor of Reserve Bank of India and was a nominated member of the Upper House of India's Parliament, the Rajya Sabha during 2003–2009. Education and career Jalan graduated from Presidency College, Calcutta, and later attended Cambridge and Oxford but no further detail as to his course of study is known publicly. Jalan held several administrative and advisory positions in the Government of India, namely, Chief Economic Adviser in the 1980s, Banking Secretary between 1985 and 1989 and Finance Secretary, Ministry of Finance between January 1991 and September 1992. Jalan West
Jalan Dominique West (born April 12, 1993) is an American basketball player. He played college basketball at Northwestern State University where he was considered one of the top defenders in the Southland Conference, having been named to three all-conference defensive teams. High school career West attended Bossier High School in Bossier City, Louisiana. As a Junior in 2009–10, he averaged 15 points, 4.5 assist, 2 rebounds per game. Coming out of high school West was rated the No. 2 prospect in the state of Louisiana by most recruiting services. As a Senior in 2010–11, West led Bossier to a LHSAA State Championship in 2011 with a (33–2) season. He also played AAU basketball for Louisiana-Select alongside future NBA players Langston Galloway and Markel Brown.
