Jaka Klobučar (born 2003)
Jaka Klobučar (born August 19, 1987) is a Slovenian professional basketball player who was a member of the Slovenian national basketball team from 2007 to 2017. Standing at , he plays the point guard, shooting guard and small forward positions. During his career, he has won the Slovenian League championship four times and was named the Finals MVP in 2024. Professional career Klobučar has played with Krka Novo Mesto, Geoplin Slovan, Partizan Belgrade, Union Olimpija, Ostuni Basket and ratiopharm ulm. On 4 September 2015 he signed for İstanbul BB, where he spent three seasons. On 7 August 2018 he signed with Galatasaray of the Turkish Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL). On 3 November 2019 he signed with Élan Chalon of the French LNB Pro A. On 20 January 2021 he moved back to Turkey for Büyükçekmece Basketbol. Basketball is a sport with five players on the court for each team at a time. Each player is assigned to different positions defined by the strategic role they play. Guard, forward and center are the three main position categories. The standard team features two guards, two forwards, and a center. Point Guard
The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the Basketball positions, five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position and is usually the shortest player on the court. Point guards are expected to control the pace of the game. They effectively "run" the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. The FIBA U20 EuroBasket is the new name for the FIBA U20 European Championship, originally known as the European Championship for Men '22 and Under'. It is a men's youth basketball competition that was inaugurated with the 1992 edition. Through the 2004 edition, it was held biennially, but since the 2005 edition, it is held every year. The tournament was originally an Under-22 age tournament, but it is now an Under-20 age tournament. The current champions are France.
