Jacob Skov Olesen (born 28 May 1999) is a Danish golfer. He won The Amateur Championship in 2024. Amateur career In 2016, Olesen won the International Juniors of Belgium and was runner-up at the English Boys' Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship for the Carris Trophy, where he shot a final round of 62 and lost a playoff to Angus Flanagan. He was bronze medalist at various Danish National Championships for four-straight years, between 2017 and 2020, before winning the Danish National Match Play Championship in 2022. He plays left-handed. Olesen has represented the Danish National Team, including at the 2017 Junior Golf World Cup in Japan and the 2023 Eisenhower Trophy in Abu Dhabi. The European Amateur Team Championship is a European amateur team golf championship for men organised by the European Golf Association which was introduced in 1959. The championship was played in odd-numbered years from 1959 to 2007 and has been played annually since 2008 (with the exception of 2012). Eisenhower Trophy
The Eisenhower Trophy (World Men's Amateur Team Championships) is the biennial World Amateur Team Championship for men organized by the International Golf Federation. Since the tournament was first played in 1958 Eisenhower Trophy, 1958, it is named after Dwight D. Eisenhower, the President of the United States at the time, who was a keen amateur golfer. The equivalent competition for women is the Espirito Santo Trophy. Results The 1958 championship resulted in a tie. The PGA Championship (often referred to as the US PGA Championship or USPGA outside the United States) is an annual golf tournament conducted by the Professional Golfers' Association of America. The Masters Tournament (usually referred to as simply the Masters, or as the U.S. Masters outside North America) is one of the four men's major championships in professional golf. Scheduled for the first full week in April, the Masters is the first major golf tournament of the year. The 2025 Masters Tournament was the 89th edition of the Masters Tournament and the first of the men's four major golf championships held in 2025. The tournament was played from April 10–13 at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia, United States. The 2025 European Tour, titled as the 2025 DP World Tour for sponsorship reasons, is the 54th season of the European Tour, the main professional golf tour in Europe since its inaugural season in 1972. It is the fourth season of the tour under a title sponsorship agreement with DP World that was announced in November 2021. 2024 European Tour Qualifying School Graduates
The 2024 European Tour Qualifying School graduates were determined following the conclusion of the 2024 European Tour (DP World Tour) Qualifying School Final Stage which was played 8–14 November at Infinitum Golf in Tarragona, Spain. It was the 47th edition of the European Tour Qualifying School. The top 20 and ties (21 in total) earned status to play on the 2025 European Tour, with the remaining players who finished outside the top 20 and ties, but having made the 72-hole cut, earning status to play on the 2025 Challenge Tour. Brian Eric Harman (born January 19, 1987) is an American professional golfer from Savannah, Georgia. He plays on the PGA Tour, on which he has won four tournaments, including a major championship victory at the 2023 Open Championship. He also finished as a runner-up at the 2017 U.S. Open.
