Jackson Memorial Hospital
Jackson Memorial Hospital, also referred to as Jackson or abbreviated MJMH, is a non-profit, tertiary care hospital, and the primary teaching hospital of the University of Miami's School of Medicine. As of 2021, it is the largest hospital in the United States by number of beds, according to ''Becker's Hospital Review''. The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis is a spinal cord injury research center and a designated Center of Excellence at the University of Miami's Miller School of Medicine in Miami, Florida. The Miami Project was co-founded in 1985 by Barth A. Green and Pro Football Hall of Fame linebacker Nick Buoniconti after Buoniconti's son, Marc, sustained a spinal cord injury during a college football game. UHealth–Jackson station (stylized as UHealth , Jackson) is a station on the Metrorail rapid transit system in the Health District of Miami, Florida. The station is located at the intersection of Northwest 12th Avenue ( State Road 933) and 15th Street.
