''Jackpot'' is a 2019 Indian Tamil-language fantasy comedy film written and directed by Kalyaan. The film stars Jyothika and Revathi, in lead roles, while Samuthirakani, Mansoor Ali Khan, Yogi Babu and Anandaraj (in a dual role) playing supporting roles. Revathi plays the character of Masha for the third time after ''Arangetra Velai'' and '' Gulaebaghavali''. The film is produced by actor Suriya under his production banner 2D Entertainment. The music for the film is scored by Vishal Chandrasekhar. The principal photography of the film commenced on 12 February 2019. The film was released on 2 August 2019. Kalyaan is an Indian film director and screenwriter who has been working in Tamil film Industry. He is notable for his commercially successful films, '' Gulaebaghavali'' (2018) and '' Jackpot'' (2019). Balachandar (8 December 1953 – 3 May 2023), known by his stage name Manobala (), was an Indian actor, film producer, director, comedian, and YouTuber who predominantly played supporting roles in Tamil-language films. Supergood Subramani was an Indian actor who worked in Tamil-language films. Career Subramani entered the cinema industry with hopes of becoming a director. He worked as an assistant director to Pavithran for ''Thirumoorthy'' (1995) and to Saravana Subbiah. He also contributed to the script development discussions for '' Pen Singam'' (2010).
