Jacek Sasin
Jacek Robert Sasin (born 6 November 1969 in Warsaw) is a Polish politician and former local government official. Biography The son of Wojciech, a turner, and Irena, an office worker. He graduated from the 20th Secondary School named after Bolesław the Brave in Warsaw. In 2007 he assumed the role of Voivode of the Masovian Voivodeship. His career included stints as the deputy head of the Chancellery of the President and as secretary of state in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. In the local elections of 2010, he became a councilor of the Masovian Voivodeship Sejmik on behalf of PiS. He was also appointed mayor of the Praga-Northc district, but ultimately he did not take up this position. In 2011, he became the candidate of Law and Justice in the parliamentary elections in the Warsaw district and obtained a parliamentary mandate, receiving 29,134 votes. Masovian Voivodeship Sejmik
The Masovian Voivodeship Sejmik () is the regional legislature of the Voivodeship of Masovia in Poland. It is a unicameral parliamentary body consisting of fifty-one councillors, making it the largest provincial assembly in the republic. All councillors are chosen during regional elections for a five-year term. Incumbent chairperson of the assembly is Ludwik Rakowski of the Civic Coalition, elected at the first session on 7 May 2024. The assembly elects the executive board that acts as the collective executive for the provincial government, headed by the voivodeship marshal. Parliamentary elections were held in Poland on 15 October 2023 to elect members of the Sejm and Senate of Poland, Senate. Hanna Beata Gronkiewicz-Waltz (, born 4 November 1952) is a Polish politician and lawyer, Professor of Jurisprudence and politician who served as the city mayor of Warsaw between 2006 and 2018. She is the first and so far only woman to have held this position. Life and career Between 1992 and 2000, she was the chairman of the National Bank of Poland, the central bank of Poland.
