Jack And Jill School
Jack & Jill School is a former Preschool education, preschool and Primary education, elementary institution, which was located in Homesite and City Heights in Bacolod, the capital of Negros Occidental province of the Philippines. Informally referred to by its acronym "JJS", it was a private, non-sectarian, educational institution with an enrollment of more than 600 pupils. The out-of-town branch was located in Magsaysay St. in Victorias City. It was one of the few institutions in the country where Karate was part of the school curriculum; Karate was included in physical education class all year round. The school closed in 2023, after 60 years of operation, due to falling enrollment. History Jack & Jill School was founded by Cecilia del Castillo-Lopez as a Preschool education, preschool in 1963. It is a multidisciplinary forum for communicating new information, new interpretations, and recent research results concerning Japan to the English-reading world. WJJS (93.5 hertz, MHz) is a commercial FM radio station licensed to Salem, Virginia, and serving the Roanoke metropolitan area. WJJS has a rhythmic contemporary, rhythmic Top 40 radio format and is owned and operated by iHeartMedia, Inc. Programming is simulcast with co-owned 102.7 WJJX in Appomattox, Virginia, serving the Lynchburg metropolitan area. The radio studios and offices are on Old Forest Road in Lynchburg and its transmitter is located on Luckett Street near Shenandoah Ave in Roanoke. Most shows on WJJS and WJJX are voicetracking, voicetracked, outside of FCC-mandated public affairs programming on Sundays.
