Irene Dubois
Irene "The Alien" Dubois is the stage name of Ian Hill, an American drag performer most known for competing on the fifteenth season of ''RuPaul's Drag Race.'' Education Hill attended Southern Methodist University and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in theater. Career Hill worked with Houston Grand Opera and Texas Repertory Theatre. He began doing drag in Dallas, during college, and has worked as a drag queen since age 25. Based in Seattle, Irene Dubois has performed at Julia's on Broadway and Queer Bar, where she co-hosted the weekly show "The Mothership" with Bosco, as of 2022. Drag "sister" to Bosco, Irene Dubois is known for her "bizarre and otherworldly" looks and alien-inspired drag. Being a fan of Patricia Arquette and ''Medium'', her stage name was inspired by Allison DuBois. RuPaul's DragCon LA
RuPaul's DragCon LA is an annual expo of drag culture held in Los Angeles billed as a "convention that celebrates 'the art of drag, queer culture and self-expression for all'", which debuted in 2015. Its sister event is RuPaul's DragCon NYC started in 2017, and is considered the "world's largest celebration of drag culture." The event is an outgrowth of the internationally successful ''RuPaul's Drag Race'', which generated '' Drag Race Thailand'', ''RuPaul's Drag Race UK'', ''RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars,'' and Chile's ''The Switch Drag Race''. ''RuPaul's Drag Race and'' the DragCons come from World of Wonder Entertainment (WOW), a production company based in Los Angeles. ''Medium'' is an American supernatural drama television series created by Glenn Gordon Caron that originally aired on NBC for five seasons from January 3, 2005 to June 1, 2009, and on CBS for two more seasons from September 25, 2009 to January 21, 2011.
