''Intimate'' (also known by its full title ''Toni Pearen's Intimate Album'') is the debut album by Australian actress and singer Toni Pearen. Recorded throughout 1992 to 1993 and released in 1994, the album spawned two top ten singles and a third top forty single. At the time her music career commenced, Pearen had been a popular cast member of the Australian drama series '' E Street''. She was one of many Australian actresses who ventured into a music career, following the success of Kylie Minogue, as well as Dannii Minogue and Pearen's ''E Street'' co-star, Melissa Tkautz, who scored a successful number one hit as well as other popular songs in the early '90s. Toni Pearen
Toni Michelle Pearen is an Australian entertainer, actress, singer, songwriter and television presenter. She initially became recognisable through her role on soap opera '' E Street'' from 1989 until 1992. She had a limited pop music career in the mid-1990s with the release of one album, ''Intimate'' (November 1994), which provided two ARIA certified gold singles, " In Your Room" (November 1992) and " I Want You" (April 1993). She was host of ''Australia's Funniest Home Video Show'' from 2003 to 2007, and competed on the eighth season of ''Dancing with the Stars'' (2008). ARIA Music Awards Of 1994
The Eighth Australian Recording Industry Association Music Awards (generally known as the ARIA Music Awards or simply The ARIAS) was held on 30 March 1994 at the State Theatre in Sydney. Radio and TV personality Richard Stubbs hosted the ceremony and was assisted by presenters to distribute 26 awards. In addition to previous categories, new categories for Best Alternative Release and Best Pop/Dance Release were presented for the first time. All Men Are Liars
''All Men Are Liars'' is a 1995 Australian comedy film written and directed by Gerard Lee and starring Toni Pearen and David Price. Plot Barry decides to sell the family piano that belongs to his wife Irene. This results in Irene leaving him and their son Mick. Mick desperately wants his mother to return home and so he decides to save up some money to buy the piano back. The town's annual harvest festival is about to commence and an all-female band fronted by the beautiful Angela arrives to participate. Mick develops a wacky scheme in which he dresses up in his mother's clothes and becomes 'Michelle', in hopes of joining the girl band to make the money he needs. The scheme works, however Mick becomes increasingly attracted to Angela who has just broken up with her boyfriend after he cheated on her with the band's ex-guitarist. Melissa Natalie Tkautz (born 24 January 1974) is an Australian actress, singer, model, and presenter. She played the role of Nikki Spencer on the popular Australian TV soap opera '' E Street'', from September 1990 to May 1993.
