All Men Are Liars
''All Men Are Liars'' is a 1995 Australian comedy film written and directed by Gerard Lee and starring Toni Pearen and David Price. Plot Barry decides to sell the family piano that belongs to his wife Irene. This results in Irene leaving him and their son Mick. Mick desperately wants his mother to return home and so he decides to save up some money to buy the piano back. The town's annual harvest festival is about to commence and an all-female band fronted by the beautiful Angela arrives to participate. Mick develops a wacky scheme in which he dresses up in his mother's clothes and becomes 'Michelle', in hopes of joining the girl band to make the money he needs. The scheme works, however Mick becomes increasingly attracted to Angela who has just broken up with her boyfriend after he cheated on her with the band's ex-guitarist. Gerard Lee
Gerard Lee is an Australian novelist, screenwriter, and director. Early life Gerard Lee was born in Melbourne and brought up in Brisbane in the 1960s in the inner southern suburb of Dutton Park. Lee began writing for ''The Telegraph'' newspaper at the age of 16, although he later attended the University of Queensland, the Australian Film, Television and Radio School, and, many decades later, Queensland University of Technology (QUT). Early career Lee started as a poet and drummer (including sitting in as the drummer for the first performance by Brisbane band, The Go-Betweens). He later moved to fiction and travel writing, then writing for film and television. Lee met Jane Campion at AFTRS and later co-wrote her feature debut, '' Sweetie (film)'', which won Best Screenplay at the Australian Film Institute Awards, a Camera d'Or at Cannes, and many other awards. Toni Pearen
Toni Michelle Pearen is an Australian entertainer, actress, singer, songwriter and television presenter. She initially became recognisable through her role on soap opera '' E Street'' from 1989 until 1992. She had a limited pop music career in the mid-1990s with the release of one album, ''Intimate'' (November 1994), which provided two ARIA certified gold singles, " In Your Room" (November 1992) and " I Want You" (April 1993). A comedy film is a category of film which emphasizes humor. These films are designed to make the audience laugh through amusement.
