''Immigrant'' is the second studio album by Palestinian-Canadian rapper Belly (rapper), Belly. It was released through Roc Nation and XO (record label), XO Records on 12 October 2018. The album features guest appearances from Coke Boys Records, Zack, Meek Mill, M.I.A. (rapper), M.I.A., Yo Gotti, Metro Boomin, French Montana, the Weeknd, and Nav (rapper), Nav. Background The album was teased numerous times late 2017, with the album title then being "Midnight Zone". Belly also shared in studio images of himself working alongside American rapper Jay-Z, which speculated the two working on a song together. Ahmad Balshe ( ar, أحمد بلوشي) (born 7 April 1984), known professionally as Belly, is a Palestinian-Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. Born in Jenin, Balshe was raised in Ottawa. At twenty-one years old, he moved on to his main love hip-hop with the release of his debut mixtape, ''Death Before Dishonor: Vol. 1''. He then released eight additional projects in a span of six years, including his debut studio album ''The Revolution (Belly album), The Revolution'' (2007), as well as two collaborative mixtapes, ''The Lost Tapes'' and ''The Greatest Dream I Never Had'', with Kurupt and DJ Drama, respectively. Maintain is a song by Palestinian-Canadian rapper Belly, featuring vocals from fellow Canadian rapper and labelmate Nav. It was released on 6 April 2018 for streaming and digital download by Roc Nation and XO. The song was written by the two artists, and its producers, Austin Powerz and Trakgirl. Background "Maintain" is the lead single off the ''Immigrant'' album. It features guest vocals from Canadian rapper, and fellow XO labelmate, Nav.
