Igal Volodarsky, also known as Igal Dar (יגאל וולדרסקי; June 12, 1936 - June 15, 1977), was an Israeli basketball player. He played in the Israel Basketball Premier League, and for the Israeli national basketball team. Biography He played in the Israel Basketball Premier League. He competed for 21 years for Maayan Baruch, Ashdot Yaakov, Hapoel Haifa B.C., Hapoel Haifa, Hapoel Nir David, Kiryat Haim, and Hapoel Megiddo, Israel, Megiddo. He also played for the Israeli national basketball team. Israel participated in the 1966 Asian Games held in Bangkok, Thailand from 9 December to 20 December 1966. Basketball is a team sport in which two teams, most commonly of five players each, opposing one another on a rectangular court, compete with the primary objective of shooting a basketball (approximately in diameter) through the defender's hoop (a basket in diameter mounted high to a backboard at each end of the court, while preventing the opposing team from shooting through their own hoop. A field goal is worth two points, unless made from behind the three-point line, when it is worth three.
