Ivy Hill, Newark, New Jersey
Ivy Hill is a neighborhood of Newark, Essex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It is a diverse neighborhood in the city's West Ward bordering South Orange, Maplewood and Irvington.There are many well kept homes and streets in the neighborhood. The Ivy Hill neighborhood is often considered a section of the Vailsburg area. History The Ivy Hill area had been part of the South Orange Township known as Maplewood until 1890 when the city of Newark bought this land. In 1926, another was annexed by Newark. South Orange is a New Jersey Transit station in South Orange, New Jersey along the Morris and Essex (formerly Erie Lackawanna) rail line. On September 17–19, 2016, a series of three constructed bombs exploded and several unexploded devices were discovered in the New York metropolitan area alongside a shooting in Linden, New Jersey following a subsequent manhunt. The bombings and additional shootout left 33 people wounded, but no fatalities were reported. Andre De Krayewski
Andre de Krayewski () (June 20, 1933 – April 10, 2018) was an artist and Polish expatriate who resided Newark, New Jersey in the United States. With a career that spanned more than half a century, he created paintings in his art-deco signature style and in pop art style. Andre de Krayewski was best known in Poland for his movie posters, a career he began in 1965. He designed sometimes up to a dozen movie posters every year up until 1980. In 2005, de Krayewski made a comeback with the Polish theater poster for ''Valentine's Day''.
