Ivona Brandić (born December 23, 1977) is a Bosnian–Austrian computer scientist known for her research on cloud computing. She is University Professor for High Performance Computing Systems in the Institute of Information Systems Engineering of TU Wien. Education and career Brandić was born in Gradačac, Bosnia and Herzegovina, then part of Yugoslavia. She came to Austria as a secondary school student in 1992, not knowing any German, as a refugee from the Bosnian War. She earned a master's degree in business computer science in 2002 from the University of Vienna, and a doctorate in the same subject in 2007 from TU Wien. She completed her habilitation in applied computer science at TU Wien in 2013. She was an untenured assistant professor in the Institute for Scientific Computing at the University of Vienna from 2002 to 2007, and in the faculty for informatics of TU Wien from 2007 to 2014, with a year on leave as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Melbourne in 2008. ...

Ivona Březinová (born 12 May 1964) is a Czechs, Czech writer of fiction for children and adolescents. Biography Březinová was born in Ústí nad Labem, North Bohemia, in 1964, where she attended gymnasium. She went on to study history and Czech language at the Faculty of Education at Jan Evangelista Purkyně University (now Masaryk University) in Brno. After graduating, she began working as an assistant in the university's Czech studies department. One year later, she gained a doctorate of educational science for Czech language and literature. She worked for a few more years as a professional assistant, focusing mainly on Czech literature of the 19th and early 20th century, publishing expert articles for newspapers during this time. Ivona Dadic (born 29 December 1993) is an Austrian track and field athlete of Croatian descent. She competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the women's heptathlon event. At the 2020 Summer Olympics she finished 8th. Early life and career Ivona Dadić was born on 29 December 1993 in Wels, Austria to Nine and Danica Dadić, who are from Bugojno, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Dadić was raised as a Roman Catholic. At the age of nine she won her first competition. Her brother Ivan died in 2008 in car accident so she has a tattooed cross on her left hand with his name. In 2015 Dadić won a bronze medal at the 2015 European U23 Championships with 6033 points. One year later she won a bronze medal at the 2016 Amsterdam with 6408 points. Ivona Fialková (born 22 November 1994) is a former Slovak biathlete. She was born in Brezno. She has competed in the Biathlon World Cup, and represented Slovakia at the Biathlon World Championships 2016. Her older sister Paulína Fialková is also Slovak biathlete.
