Iveta Staša-Šaršūne (born June 9, 1976) is a Latvian curler from Riga, Latvia. Career Staša-Šaršūne skipped the Latvian team at three World Women's Curling Championships. At the 2010 Ford World Women's Curling Championship in Swift Current, Canada, her team placed last with a 1-10 record. At the 2013 World Women's Curling Championship at home in Riga, Latvia, she did not improve her ranking, placing last once again with the same record as in 2010. In 2019, she placed last once again, this time with a 1-11 record at the 2019 World Women's Curling Championship in Silkeborg, Denmark. 2018 European Curling Championships
The 2018 Le Gruyère AOP European Curling Championships were held from November 16 to 24 in Tallinn, Estonia. The C Division competitions were held in April in Copenhagen, Denmark. The top seven men's teams will qualify for the 2019 World Men's Curling Championship. Additionally, the top two teams in the B division and the top two teams in the A division not already qualified for the World Men's Curling Championship will qualify for the 2019 World Qualification Event, a further chance to qualify for the Worlds. Eve Muirhead
Eve Muirhead (born 22 April 1990) is a Scottish former curler from Perth and the skip of the British Olympic Curling team. Muirhead and the GB team became Olympic champions at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, having previously won the bronze medal at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. As skip of the Scotland team, Muirhead won the 2011 European Championships in Moscow, the 2013 World Championships in Riga, the 2017 European Championships in St. Gallen and the 2021 European Championships in Lillehammer. She is also a four-time World Junior Champion (2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011). The European Curling Championships are annual curling tournaments held in Europe between various European nations. The European Curling Championships are usually held in early to mid December.
