Ivan Nikčević (; born 11 February 1981) is a Serbian former handball player. Club career Over the course of his career that spanned more than two decades, Nikčević played for RK Crvena zvezda, Crvena zvezda (1998–2005), BM Altea, Altea (2005–2007), BM Ciudad de Almería, Almería (2007–2008), SDC San Antonio, Portland San Antonio (2008–2010), BM Granollers, Granollers (2010–2011), BM Valladolid, Valladolid (2011–2012), Wisła Płock (handball), Wisła Płock (2012–2016) and Sporting CP (handball), Sporting CP (2016–2020). Nikšić (Cyrillic script, Cyrillic: Никшић, ), is the second largest city in Montenegro, with a total population of 32,046 (2023 census) located in the west of the country, in the centre of the spacious Nikšić field at the foot of Trebjesa Hill. 2012 European Men's Handball Championship
The 2012 EHF European Men's Handball Championship was the tenth edition of the men's continental handball tournament, which was held in Serbia between 15 and 29 January 2012. Sixteen teams qualified for the event, including host nation Serbia, defending champion France and fourteen national teams through the qualifying tournament. The teams were split into four groups of 4, with the top 3 teams of each group advancing to the main round, carrying the points won against other qualified opponents. The 2016–17 Andebol 1 is the 65th season of the Andebol 1, Portugal's top-tier handball league. A total of fourteen teams contest this season's league, which is an increase of two teams from last season. The season began on 3 September 2016 and ended on 18 June 2017. ABC were the defending champions, but failed to revalidate the title, as Sporting CP won this season's league, achieving its 20th league title. The 2016 EHF European Men's Handball Championship was the twelfth edition and was held for the first time in Poland from 15–31 January 2016. Croatia and Norway were the other applicants in the bidding process. Poland was awarded the championship on the EHF Congress in Monaco on 23 June 2012 with 58% votes.
