Ivan Belošević
Ivan Belošević (12 September 1909 – 7 October 1987), nicknamed Ivica, was a Croatian footballer. He played international football for both the Kingdom of Yugoslavia national football team and the Independent State of Croatia national football team. Club career He was born in Sušak, and started his career with Zagreb's HTŠK Grafičar before moving to HŠK Concordia. With Concordia he won the Royal Championship in 1932. Belošević moved to HŠK Građanski in 1937. He ended his career in 1941, when he became a manager. He died in Zagreb, aged 78. International career He made his debut for Yugoslavia in a June 1933 Balkan Cup match against Greece and earned a total of 11 caps scoring no goals. Sušak, Rijeka
Sušak (in Italian ''Sussak'') is a part of the city of Rijeka in Croatia, where it composes the eastern part of the city, separated from the city center by the Rječina river, which in former times served as an international border. Notable features of Sušak include the public beaches at Pećine and Glavanovo, along with the Tower Center shopping mall. History Under the Habsburg monarchy, Rijeka and the surrounding area technically belonged to the Hungarian half of the Monarchy. 1933 Balkan Cup
The 1933 Balkan Cup was the fourth Balkan Cup association football, football tournament. The national teams of Kingdom of Yugoslavia, Yugoslavia, Second Hellenic Republic, Greece, Kingdom of Bulgaria, Bulgaria and Kingdom of Romania, Romania took part and it was won by Romania national football team, Romania, the host of the tournament.
