Iurie Roșca
Iurie Roșca (born 31 October 1961) is a Moldovan politician who has served as president of the Christian-Democratic People's Party (Moldova), Christian-Democratic People's Party (PPCD) since 1994. Biography Iurie Roșca graduated in 1984 from the journalism faculty of Moldova State University. He then worked as a correspondent for the newspaper ''Tinerimea Moldovei'' (''The Youth of Moldova''), a reporter for the TeleRadio-Moldova, National Television of Moldova, and an upper-level curator at the Dimitrie Cantemir Literature Museum in Chișinău. Political career In 1989, Roșca became one of the founders of the Popular Front of Moldova (of which the PPCD is a successor). He was executive president of the organization from 1989 to 1994. Vitalie Pîrlog (; born 28 July 1974) is a Moldovan politician. Education and early career Between 1992 and 1997, he studied at the Free International University of Moldova (Chișinău) (Law Department), receiving a Degree in International Law. Pîrlog began his career in 1993 as Legal Adviser within an international private company. From 1997 till 2001, he served as Senior Adviser in the Document Services of the Office of the President of Moldova. In January 2001 he was appointed Deputy Director of the Governmental Agent and International Relations Department of the Ministry of Justice. Dimitrie or Demetrius; Cantemir (; ; 26 October 1673 – 21 August 1723), also known by other spellings, was a Moldavian prince, statesman, and man of letters. He twice served as voivode of Moldavia (March–April 1693 and 1710–1711). During his second term, he allied his state with Russia in a war against Moldavia's Ottoman overlords; Russia's defeat forced Cantemir's family into exile and the replacement of the native voivodes by Greek phanariots. Cantemir was also a prolific writer, variously a: philosopher, historian, composer, musicologist, linguist, ethnographer and geographer. TeleRadio-Moldova (TRM) is the Moldovan state-owned national radio and television broadcaster. It owns two television channels and three radio stations. TRM was admitted as a full active member of the European Broadcasting Union on 1 January 1993, under its former name ''Radioteleviziunea Nationala din Moldova'' (RTNM). Maria Postoico (4 April 1950 – 11 September 2019) was a Communist Moldovan politician. She was elected vice president of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova in 2005. Life Postoico was born in Horodiște in 1950. She studied to be a lawyer at the State University of Moldova in 1978. She worked as an inspector until she was elected to parliament in 1998. She was elected as a Party of Communists of the Republic of Moldova deputy to the parliament on 24 January 2000 and she remained there until she joined the Moldovan parliament in 2005. Vasile Tarlev (born 6 October 1963) is a Moldovan politician who served as the 6th Prime Minister of Moldova from 2001 to 2008. Dumitru Braghiș (; born 28 December 1957) is a Moldovan politician, diplomat and economist. He is the current Moldovan Ambassador to China and Vietnam, appointed in mid-2020.
