Israel López Hernández (born 29 September 1974) is a Mexican former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Initially a right fullback who converted to the midfield during the prime years of his career, López made his debut at age 19 with UNAM in 1993.MedioTiempo"Israel López - Gallos Blancos." By the following year he was a starter in defense alongside players such as Claudio Suárez and went on to make 238 appearances for the club, but the middle and late 1990s were generally disappointing for Pumas. The 2011–12 Primera División Profesional season was the 65th professional top-flight football league season in Mexico. The season was split into two tournaments: the Torneo Apertura and the Torneo Clausura; each of identical format and contested by the same eighteen teams. Liga MX, also known as Liga BBVA MX for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in Mexico and the highest level of the Mexican football league system. The men's football tournament at the 2004 Summer Olympics was held in Athens and four other cities in Greece from 11 to 28 August. Ricardo Antonio Lavolpe
Ricardo Antonio La Volpe Guarchoni (; born 6 February 1952) is an Argentine former professional footballer and manager. He is a World Cup-winning goalkeeper who played for most of his career in Argentina and Mexico. As a coach, La Volpe was in charge of both the Mexico and Costa Rica national teams, coaching the former at the 2006 World Cup. As club manager at Atlante, the league title was won in the 1992–93 season. On 22 April 2020, in an interview with David Faitelson, he announced his retirement from management. The 2006 FIFA World Cup was the 18th FIFA World Cup, the quadrennial international Association football, football world championship tournament.
