Isomäki (Pori)
Isomäki (in Swedish: ''Storbacken'') is one of the districts of Pori. The area is meant for sports activities and there are no residential buildings. The area borders Highway 2 to the north and Highway 8 to the west. To the south is the Pori forest, which is thought of as a part of the Isomäki sports centre. Isomäki is home to an ice hockey arena, the Pori Stadium Pori Stadium () is a multi-purpose stadium in Pori, Finland. It is currently used primarily for football and stadium is the home of FC Jazz. Pori Stadium
Pori Stadium () is a multi-purpose stadium in Pori, Finland. It is currently used primarily for football and stadium is the home of FC Jazz. It is also the former home ground of FC PoPa and Musan Salama. Pori Stadium is located at Isomäki sports center some two kilometres south of the city. Stadium is sometimes nicknamed as the ''Stadium of Eternal Wind'' due to windy conditions that are common on the stadium and its surroundings. By the main entrance is a javelin thrower statue by Finnish sculptor Kalervo Kallio which is inspired by Matti Järvinen's gold medal throw at the 1932 Summer Olympics. History Pori Stadium was built in 1963–1965. It is the third main stadium in Pori replacing the 1935 opened Herralahti Stadium. HC Ässät Pori
Porin Ässät (; Finnish language, Finnish for ''Pori Aces''), officially named Hockey Club Ässät Pori and colloquially known as Pata, is a professional ice hockey club based in Pori, Finland. It competes in the Liiga, the highest-ranking league of ice hockey in Finland. Since 1971, Ässät has played its games in the Isomäki Ice Hall. The team was founded in 1967 due to a merger of two local sports clubs, Rosenlewin Urheilijat-38 and Porin Karhut. Ässät originally competed in the SM-sarja, which was replaced by the SM-liiga in 1975, making Ässät one of the ten original SM-liiga teams. Ässät was relegated to the I-Divisioona for the 1989–90 I-Divisioona season, 1989–90 season, but it was promoted back to the SM-liiga after just one season.
