Ismail Musukaev
Ismail Timurovich Musukaev (, ; born 28 January 1993) is a Russian-born Hungarian freestyle wrestler. A world champion and European champion, Musukaev represented Hungary at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan and at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France in the men's 65 kg event. Career He was the runner-up at the Russian nationals in 2015 at 57 kg. At the Russian nationals 2016 at the end of the 57 kg quarterfinal wrestling match between Lebedev and Musukaev the referees awarded the victory to Viktor Lebedev. However, after the match the Russian Championships wrestling commission considered mistakes of the referee and awarded the victory to Ismail Musukaev (4-2). Even so, Lebedev remained in the semifinals. After the incident, the Dagestani team walked out, along with others, including many Chechens. The XXIX Golden Grand Prix Ivan Yarygin 2018, also known as Ivan Yarygin (Yariguin) 2018 was a wrestling event held in Krasnoyarsk, Russia between 26 and 28 January 2018. It was held as the second of the ranking series of United World Wrestling,it is only men's freestyle ranking. This international tournament includes competition in both men's and women's freestyle wrestling. This Grand Prix will be held in honor of the two time Olympic Champion, Ivan Yarygin. Ivan Yarygin
Ivan Sergeyevich Yarygin ( rus, Иван Сергеевич Ярыгин, p=ɪˈvan sʲɪrˈɡʲe(j)ɪvʲɪtɕ jɪˈrɨɡʲɪn; 7 November 1948 – 11 October 1997) was a Soviet and Russian heavyweight freestyle wrestler. Between 1970 and 1980 he won all his major international competitions, except for the 1970 and 1974 European championships where he placed second. Yarygin was an Olympic champion in 1972 and 1976, being the first wrestler to go through an Olympic competition with straight pin victories and no foul points, a world champion in 1973, a World Cup winner five times, has never lost a single match in World Cup competition, and a European champion in 1972 and 1975–76, and won a world cup in 1973, 1976–77 and 1979–80. He also set a record for the fastest pin victory in the World Cup history at 27 seconds.
