''Isimo'' is a collaborative studio album by Kabza de Small and Mthunzi. It was released by Piano Hub and Sony Music Africa on 27 October 2023. Accolades ''Isimo'' won the Best Produced Album at the 18th Metro FM Music Awards. In addition, the album won the Best Amapiano Album (presented by Motsweding FM), Duo or Group of the Year (presented by Radio 2000) and Album of the Year (presented by SAMPRA) at the 30th Annual South African Music Awards. Sandile Fortune Msimango, popularly known by his stage name Young Stunna is a South African Amapiano singer. He is known for his hit singles "Bopha" and "Adiwele". He has also extensively worked with record producers DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small. Stunna's debut studio album ''Notumato'' (2021), reached number 1 in South Africa. Notumato became his first commercially successful album which helped him gain recognition and it certified Platinum by Recording Industry of South Africa (RiSA). Education He attended Benoni West Primary and Lee Rand High School in Benoni. He completed his matric at Unity Secondary School in Daveyton. Sizwe Moeketsi (born 30 June 1987) is a South African musician commonly known as Reason, a name he uses as a rap music, rapper. He is also known as Sizwe Alakine, an alter ego he adopted after taking up a career in Amapiano. Early life and education Sizwe Moeketsi was born on 30 June 1987 in Thembisa, Tembisa, and grew up in Katlehong, South Africa. Career Using the stage name Reason, his first appearance on mainstream radio was in 2004 on YFM Radio. He started recording in 2005, starting as a battle rapper, and came to prominence after his collaborative work with Ms Nthabi. It was released on 27 October 2023 by Piano Hub under exclusive license from Sony Music Entertainment Africa, it features guest appearances from DJ Maphorisa, Sizwe Alakine, Young Stunna, and Umthakathi Kush with production handled by Kabza de Small and DJ Maphorisa, collectively known as Scorpion Kings. Despite the song not released as a single, in November 2023 the song was trailing the second longest number one charting song in 2023 "iPlan" on The Official South African Charts. Thandeka Nontobeko Ngema (born 16 December 1994), professionally known as MaWhoo, is a South African singer-songwriter, and model. She got wide recognition after releasing her debut single "Umshado" featuring Heavy-K. Ngema has also appeared in several music videos, including acting in cameo roles.
