Iosif Bükössy
Iosif Bükössy (12 August 1936 – 30 October 2006) was a Romanian footballer who played as a Forward (association football), forward. Playing career Iosif Bükössy was born on 12 August 1936 in Mediaș, Romania and he started to play football in 1948 at local club, Sparta. In 1954 he moved to neighboring club, CS Gaz Metan Mediaș, Flacăra where he spent two seasons playing in Liga II, Divizia B. Then after another short Divizia B spell at Progresul CPCS București, Bükössy went to play for FC Steaua București, CCA București where he made his Liga I, Divizia A debut under coach Ștefan Dobay on 27 May 1956 in a 3–1 away loss in front of Club Atletic Oradea, Progresul Oradea, gaining a total of three appearances in his first season spent at the club, helping it win the title. Mediaș (; , , Transylvanian Saxon dialect, Transylvanian Saxon: ''Medwesch''/''Medveš''/''Medwisch'', ) is the second largest municipiu, town and municipality in Sibiu County, Transylvania, central Romania. The Eternal derby (), also called the Romanian derby ( or ) or the Great derby (), is a football match between Bucharest rivals ''FCSB'' and '' Dinamo București''. The Cupa României () is a Association football, football cup competition for List of football clubs in Romania, Romanian teams which has been held annually since 1933–34 Cupa României, 1933–34, except during World War II. Dorel Zamfir
Dorel Zamfir (30 September 1961 – 6 October 2023) was a Romanian footballer who played as a right midfielder. Club career Zamfir was born on 30 September 1961 in Vișeu de Sus, Maramureș County, but when he was two months old, his parents settled in his father's city, Constanța. He started playing football at age 7, at FC Constanța's youth center where he worked with coach Iosif Bükössy, making his debut for the senior team when he played a full match at the age of 15 years, five months and 16 days on 16 March 1977 under coach Gheorghe Ola in a Divizia A home game which ended with a 1–0 loss against Steaua București. Vasile Mănăilă
Vasile Mănăilă (22 November 1962 – 10 June 2025) was a Romanian football player and coach. Club career Mănăilă, nicknamed "Marinarul" (The Sailor), was born on 22 November 1962 in Bordușani, Ialomița County, moving with his parents at age 7 to live in Constanța. He started playing football as a child at Farul Constanța's youth center, his first coach being Iosif Bükössy, afterwards working more with Constantin Tâlvescu. He made his Divizia A debut on 26 September 1981 under coach Emanoil Hașoti, playing for Farul Constanța in a 3–0 away loss to UTA Arad. He played three seasons at Farul including one in Divizia B. Ianis Alin Zicu (born 23 October 1983) is a Romanian professional football manager and former player who played as a midfielder, currently in charge of Liga I club Farul Constanța. Gheorghe Hagi
Gheorghe Hagi (; born 5 February 1965) is a Romanian professional football manager and former player, who is currently the owner of Liga I club Farul Constanța. FC Politehnica Timișoara
Fotbal Club Politehnica Timișoara (), commonly known as Politehnica Timișoara or simply Poli Timișoara, was a Romanian Association football, football club from Timișoara, Timiș County, established in 1921 and dissolved in 2012.
