Ingemund Fænn (18 September 1907 – 19 June 1987) was a Norwegian newspaper editor. He was born in Stryn. He worked in '' Fjordingen'' from 1928 to 1936, and was hired in ''Bergens Tidende'' in 1936. Stryn is a List of municipalities of Norway, municipality in the Counties of Norway, county of Vestland, Norway. It is located in the Districts of Norway, traditional district of Nordfjord. Fjordingen
''Fjordingen'' is a Norwegian newspaper, published in Stryn in Vestland county. It was named ''Innfjordingen'' from 1928 to 1929. It started on 14 September 1928 as ''Innfjordingen''. The first editor Nils Hertzberg was a sympathizer of the Fatherland League (Norway), Fatherland League, but the newspaper had no clear political allegiance. It furthermore went bankrupt after a year, but continued from 4 November 1929 with the name ''Fjordingen''. During the occupation of Norway by Nazi Germany a Nazi editor Bernhard Dippner was forced upon ''Fjordingen'' in 1941, before the newspaper was stopped in January 1942. The printing press was also taken away. After the war, the newspaper had some problems getting a new printing press and owner, but it resumed with a trial issue on 18 December 1945, first ordinary issue on 4 January 1946 and ownership by the Conservative Party (Norway), Conservative Party from 1948. Kjartan Rødland (29 November 1938 – 27 February 2025) was a Norwegian journalist and newspaper editor, and author of several books. Life and career Rødland was born in the village of Bolstadøyri in Voss Municipality. He started working as journalist from 1956, first in the newspaper '' Dagen'', and then in ''Raumnes'' from 1957. He worked for the Bodø newspaper ' from 1960 to 1963, for ''Helgeland Arbeiderblad'' from 1963 to 1967, for ''Fædrelandsvennen'' in Kristiansand from 1967 to 1969, and for ''Bergens Tidende'' from 1969 to 1971.
