Inge Hvid-Møller
Inge Hvid-Møller (1912–1970) was a Danish actress and theatre director, stage director. She is remembered for performing roles in Jean Anouilh's plays, in particular the title role in ''Antigone (Anouilh play), Antigone'' in 1946. From the 1950s she directed plays including Chekhov's ''Uncle Vanya, Onkel Vanja'' (1953) at the Betty Nansen Teatret, Allé-Scenen. Hvid-Møller also performed in several films, including ''Jeg mødte en Morder'' (1943). Biography Born in Copenhagen on 6 October 1912, Inge Hvid-Møller was the daughter of the high-court attorney Johannes Hvid-Møller (1885–1959) and his wife Elna Johanne Henriette Bentzen (1884–1950). In 1941, she married the actor Hans-Henrik Krause. The marriage was dissolved in 1946. She trained at the Royal Danish Theatre, Royal Theatre School (1932–34) and made her debut in 1935 as Esther in Henri Nathansen ''Indenfor Murene'' (Inside the Walls) in 1936. Frederiksberg () is a part of the Capital Region of Denmark. It is an independent municipality, Frederiksberg Municipality, separate from Copenhagen Municipality, but both are a part of the region of Copenhagen. Bodil Ipsen
Bodil Ipsen (; 30 August 1889 – 26 November 1964) was a Danish actress and film director, and is considered one of the great stars of Danish cinematic history. Her acting career, which began in theater and silent films, was marked by leading roles in large folk comedies and melodramas. However, it was as a director that she was most influential: directing the first Danish film noir and making several dark psychological thrillers during the 1940s and 1950s. Alice O'Fredericks (born Mitzi Otha Alice Frederiksen; 8 September 1899 – 18 February 1968) was a Denmark, Danish actress, screenwriter, and film director. Johan Jacobsen
Johan Jacobsen (14 March 1912 – 7 July 1972) was a Danish film director. His parents were theatre manager Jacob Jørgen Jacobsen (1865–1955) and actress Christel Holch (1886–1968). In the 1940s, Jacobsen directed a number of both popular and critically acclaimed films for the film studio Palladium. From 1947 on, he was an independent director and producer. He produced his own films and those of his partner Annelise Hovmand (1924–2016) at his own film studio, Flamingo. In 1959, he was a member of the jury at the 9th Berlin International Film Festival. His '' A Stranger Knocks'' (1959) was in competition at the San Francisco International Film Festival in 1960. It was distributed in the US by Trans-Lux and played a major part in bringing down the American State Film Censorship system in 1965.
