Inflikted
''Inflikted'' is the debut studio album from Cavalera Conspiracy, the Cavalera brothers' first record together in 12 years - since the release of ''Roots'' by Sepultura in 1996. Album information Max Cavalera had indicated that the music on ''Inflikted'' would be similar to Sepultura's early death/ thrash-metal recordings but it would also have a heavy hardcore punk influence. The title track was originally released as a four-track demo entitled "Inflikted (After the Slaughter)" in May 2007, intended as a Soulfly track before being repurposed for the first Cavalera Conspiracy album. The album was released on March 24, 2008. Two videos for "Sanctuary" have been made, one of which is a censored version of the other. Both of these can be found on the band's websites. Cavalera Conspiracy
Cavalera Conspiracy is a Brazilian-American heavy metal supergroup from Phoenix, Arizona, founded by Brazilian brothers Max (vocals, rhythm guitar) and Igor Cavalera (drums, percussion), who are widely known as former members of Sepultura, and the only two constant members of the band. The band originally formed in 2007 as Inflikted but changed its name for legal reasons. The group's creation marked the end of a 10-year feud between the Cavalera brothers who founded Sepultura in the early 1980s. In 2022, they adopted the name Cavalera in order to release re-recorded editions of classic Sepultura albums, which were released in 2023. Following the brothers' falling out, Max Cavalera had formed a new band, Soulfly, and Igor had recorded four studio albums with Sepultura before leaving the band in January 2006. Logan Mader
Logan Conrad Mader (born November 16, 1970) is a Canadian record producer and musician. He is a guitarist for melodic death metal band Once Human and a former lead guitarist for heavy metal band Machine Head. Mader is most famous for his time in Machine Head, whose 1994 debut '' Burn My Eyes'' was released by Roadrunner Records and quickly became the top-selling debut album in the label's history until Slipknot's debut album. Their second album, '' The More Things Change...'', was released in 1997 and Logan left the band shortly thereafter to divert his energy and time to side projects. Max Cavalera
Massimiliano Antonio "Max" Cavalera (; born 4 August 1969) is a Brazilian musician. He co-founded the Heavy metal music, heavy metal band Sepultura in 1984 with his brother Igor Cavalera, and was the band's lead singer and rhythm guitarist until his departure in 1997. He currently plays in the heavy metal bands Soulfly, Cavalera Conspiracy, Killer Be Killed and Go Ahead and Die. Cavalera was also involved in a short-lived side project called Nailbomb. ''Blunt Force Trauma'' is the second studio album by American Brazilian metal band Cavalera Conspiracy. The album was released on March 29, 2011 through Roadrunner Records. Possessed is an American death metal band, originally formed in 1982 in the San Francisco Bay Area. Noted for their fast style of playing and Jeff Becerra's death growl, growled vocals, they are often called the first band in the death metal genre, and paved the way for the 1980s Bay Area thrash metal scene, along with Metallica, Exodus (band), Exodus, Testament (band), Testament and Death Angel.
