Independent Democratic Serb Party
The Independent Democratic Serb Party ( sh-Cyrl-Latn, Самостална демократска српска странка, Samostalna demokratska srpska stranka, SDSS) is a social-democratic political party in Croatia representing the interests of the Croatian Serbs. It holds Progressivism, progressive, Pro-Europeanism, pro-European stances and is generally considered a Centre-left politics, centre-left party. Milorad Pupovac
Milorad Pupovac (; born 5 November 1955) is a Croatian politician and linguist. He is a member of the Sabor, the former president of the Serb National Council, and the president of the Independent Democratic Serb Party. He was also an Member of the European Parliament#Observers, observer at the European Parliament. Education Pupovac was born in Donje Ceranje near Benkovac. He graduated from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Zagreb. He holds a PhD(NSK) in linguistics and is a professor at the University of Zagreb. Boris Milošević
Boris Milošević ( sr-Cyrl, Борис Милошевић, ; born 5 November 1974) is a Croatian Serb lawyer and politician who served as Deputy Prime Minister of Croatia between 2020 and 2022. He is a member of the Independent Democratic Serb Party (SDSS). He previously served as the president of the Serb National Council from July 2019 until July 2020. 2020 Croatian Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections were held in Croatia on 5 July 2020. They were the tenth parliamentary elections since the first multi-party elections in 1990 and elected the 151 members of the Croatian Parliament. 140 Members of Parliament were elected from geographical electoral districts in Croatia, three MPs were chosen by the Croatian diaspora and eight MPs came from the ranks of citizens registered as belonging to any of the 22 constitutionally recognized national minorities. Ivo Sanader (; born 8 June 1953) is a Croatian former politician who served as Prime Minister of Croatia from 2003 to 2009. He is currently serving a 18-year prison sentence for corruption in Lipovica penitentiary. Sanader is to date the second longest-serving prime minister since Croatia's independence, holding the office for over five and a half years before resigning in July 2009. He is one of only two Croatian prime ministers (along with Andrej Plenković) who have served more than one term, winning the general elections in 2003 and 2007. The Croatian Democratic Union (, , HDZ) is a major conservative, centre-right political party in Croatia. Since 2016, it has been the ruling political party in Croatia under the incumbent Prime Minister Andrej Plenković. Serb People's Party ( sh-Latn-Cyrl, Srpska narodna stranka, Српска народна странка) is one of the political parties that represent ethnic Serb minority in Croatia. History 1990s The party was founded in early 1991 by ethnic Serb politicians opposed to the radical and secessionist policies of Republic of Serbian Krajina.
