Grupo Desportivo de Incomáti, or simply Incomáti de Xinavane, is a Mozambique multi sports club from Xinavane especially known for its football. The team was promoted to National Football Division in 2018, after winning the South Zone second league division in 2017. Xinavane is a town on the Incomati River, in the Manhiça District of Maputo Province, in Mozambique about 80 kilometres north of Maputo. Moçambola
Moçambola (or Campeonato Moçambicano de Futebol, Portuguese for Mozambican Football Championship) is the top division of Mozambican football. It is organized by the Liga Moçambicana de Futebol. History In 1976, shortly after the country's independence from Portugal, the competition's first season was contested. Only five clubs took part: Académica Maputo, AD Pemba, Desportivo de Maputo, Desportivo Tete, and Textáfrica. Until 2005, the competition was named Liga 2M. In 2005, the league was renamed to Moçambola. Competition format The league consists of 12 clubs, with each team competing against each other team twice, round-robin style, for a total of 24 matches per season.
