In Flames
In Flames is a Swedish Heavy metal music, heavy metal band, formed by guitarist Jesper Strömblad in Gothenburg in 1990 out of the Swedish death metal, Swedish death metal scene. Their lineup has changed several times, with vocalist Anders Fridén and guitarist Björn Gelotte being the only consistent members since 1995. Since the departure of Strömblad in 2010, no original members remain with the band. In Flames helped pioneer melodic death metal along with fellow Swedish bands At the Gates and Dark Tranquillity. The band has sold over two million records worldwide. During the band's early years, In Flames had a varying group of musicians recording with them, including many session musicians. Tanner Wayne
Andrew Tanner Wayne (born May 18, 1988) is an American drummer, best known for his participation in Underminded, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, and Chiodos. He has also filled in on drums for Underoath. Most recently, he was the drummer for Swedish melodic death metal band In Flames from 2018 to 2025. Career Underminded and Scary Kids Scaring Kids (1999–2009) Wayne was the third drummer of the hardcore punk band Underminded, replacing Joe Mullen in 2006. He was only featured on one album, ''Eleven:Eleven'', which was released in 2007. Rock Am Ring
The (German language, German for "Rock at the Ring") and ("Rock in the Park") festivals are two simultaneous rock music festivals held annually in Germany. While ''Rock am Ring'' takes place at the Nürburgring race track, ''Rock im Park'' takes place at the Zeppelinfeld in Nuremberg. Rock am Ring festival was founded by in 1985. The two festivals are usually regarded as one event sharing nearly identical lineups. All artists perform one day at the Nürburgring and another day in Nuremberg during the three-day event. Chris Broderick
Christopher Alan Broderick (born March 6, 1970) is an American musician, best known as a former guitarist of the thrash metal band Megadeth. He is also formerly the lead guitarist for Jag Panzer, appearing on four albums between 1998 and 2004. He also served as a touring guitarist for Nevermore in the 2000s. Following his departure from Megadeth, Broderick formed Act of Defiance in 2014. Niclas Engelin
Niclas Engelin (born 27 December 1972) is a Swedish guitarist, who is currently playing with Engel, Drömriket, We Sell the Dead, and The Halo Effect. He previously was the lead guitarist for Gardenian and Passenger and the co-guitarist for In Flames and has been in and out of In Flames on six occasions. In 1997, Engelin replaced Glenn Ljungström of In Flames who had just quit. In 1998, Niclas quit In Flames and the band's drummer, Bjorn Gelotte, took over his position as guitarist. Engelin came back to fill in for Jesper Strömblad four times since back in 1998, when he quit. Joe Rickard (born April 12, 1987) is an American record producer, mixing engineer, and drummer. He was a member of the rock band Red from 2008 through 2014 and Swedish heavy metal band In Flames from 2016 through 2019. He then began primarily writing, mixing and producing, often working with music producer Howard Benson. Peter Iwers
Peter Iwers (born on 15 May 1975) is a Swedish musician and the current bass player of the melodic death metal band The Halo Effect. He was a member of the melodic death metal band In Flames from their 1999 album ''Colony'' up until their 2016 album '' Battles'', originally replacing Johan Larsson who departed after 1997's '' Whoracle''. He was also the bassist for the band Cyhra with former In Flames bandmate Jesper Strömblad from 2017 to 2018. Before he joined in Flames, Iwers played in a band called Chameleon. Daniel Svensson
Daniel Svensson (born 20 November 1977) is a Swedish drummer. He is currently a member of the Swedish supergroup The Halo Effect (2021–) and formerly a drummer of the metal bands In Flames, Sacrilege GBG (also the vocalist) and Diabolique. In 1998, Svensson took Björn Gelotte's job occupation as drummer when Gelotte switched from drums to guitars. In Flames' first album with him as drummer along with Peter Iwers was ''Colony'', and it was released the following year. He rejoined Sacrilege GBG in 2006. Svensson decided to leave In Flames after finishing up the Europe tour in November 2015. He is also running a beer brewing company together with former In Flames bandmate Peter Iwers. Clas Håkan Jesper Strömblad (born 28 November 1972) is a Swedish musician who is the guitarist of the bands The Halo Effect, Dimension Zero and Cyhra, and formerly of In Flames and The Resistance. He is best known as the founder and former guitarist/drummer/keyboardist of the pioneering melodic death metal band In Flames, guitarist of the band Sinergy, bassist of Ceremonial Oath and drummer of HammerFall. Glenn Ljungström (born 7 September 1974) is a Swedish guitarist from Nödinge-Nol. He was a guitarist and composer in a few Swedish metal bands. He was most notably in the melodic death metal band In Flames from 1993 to 1997. He quit In Flames to support his family with a more stable job. Daniel Erlandsson
Daniel John Erlandsson (born 22 May 1976) is a Swedish musician, best known as the drummer in the melodic death metal band Arch Enemy and as former drummer of extreme metal bands Carcass and Brujeria. His early work includes drumming on the In Flames album ''Subterranean'' (1995). He has also played for other bands, most notably Eucharist, Liers in Wait, Diabolique, Armageddon (featuring Christopher Amott of Arch Enemy), Revengia and The End. Erlandsson was born in Malmö. His older brother is Adrian Erlandsson, the drummer of At the Gates, The Haunted, Brujeria, Paradise Lost and Vallenfyre and the former drummer of Cradle of Filth.
