New Wave Music
New wave is a music genre that encompasses pop music, pop-oriented styles from the 1970s through the 1980s. It is considered a lighter and more melodic "broadening of Punk subculture, punk culture". It was originally used as a catch-all for the various styles of music that emerged after punk rock. Later, critical consensus favored "new wave" as an umbrella term involving many contemporary popular music styles, including synth-pop, alternative dance and post-punk. Hombres G
Hombres G ("G-Men") is a Spanish pop rock band, formed in Madrid in 1983. They are widely considered one of Spain's most prominent pop groups of the 1980s and early 1990s. The band consists of lead vocalist and bassist David Summers, lead guitarist Rafael Gutierrez, rhythm guitarist and pianist Dani Mezquita, and drummer Javi Molina. Hombres G made their live debut at Madrid's Rock-Ola in 1983. Their sound was influenced by the early Beatles and the British new wave movement. Diego Felipe Bertie Brignardello (2 November 1967 – 5 August 2022) was a Peruvian actor and singer. His performances spanned in film, theatre and television. ''Rock Band'' is a series of rhythm games first released in 2007 and developed by Harmonix. Based on their previous development work from the Guitar Hero, ''Guitar Hero'' series, the main ''Rock Band'' games have players use game controllers modeled after musical instruments and microphones to perform the lead guitar, bass guitar, Musical keyboard, keyboard, drum kit, drums and vocal parts of numerous licensed songs across a wide range of genres though mostly focusing on rock music by matching scrolling musical notes patterns shown on screen. Recorded and produced by Rudy Pagliuca, it is a free download on the website of the record label All of the Above. The album was nominated for "Best Latin Pop, Rock or Urban Album" in the 54th Grammy Awards. The two singles from this album are "Radio Capital" and "Danz!". Background and recording The album was recorded in Caracas in 2009, on fairly independent terms. Jean Pierre Magnet Vargas Prada (born in Lima, Peru on September 11, 1949) is a saxophonist, composer, music producer, and director. Early life Magnet is the oldest of three and the son of a French Basque father and Peruvian mother. He started his musical career at an early age while working with his father at Country Club Hotel in Lima, Peru. At 10 years old, he revealed his dream to become a saxophonist to his father who immediately gave him his first saxophone.
