Ilja Dragunov
Ilja Rukober (; born 10 October 1993), known by his ring name Ilja Dragunov (), is a Russian-born, German- naturalised professional wrestler. As of January 2019, he is signed to WWE, where he performs on the Raw brand, but is currently inactive due to a torn ACL. He formerly competed on the NXT UK and NXT brands, where he won each brand's main title: the NXT United Kingdom Championship and the NXT Championship. He is the first non-kayfabe Russian-born male wrestler to compete and win a championship in the WWE. Before signing with WWE, Rukober competed on the European independent circuit and is also known for his time with Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw), where he is a former Unified World Wrestling Champion, three-time wXw World Tag Team Champion and two-time wXw Shotgun Champion. NXT TakeOver 36 was the 36th and final NXT TakeOver professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) and livestreaming event produced by WWE. It was held for wrestlers from the promotion's NXT brand division. The event took place on August 22, 2021, from the Capitol Wrestling Center, hosted at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The event was held during that year's SummerSlam weekend, but was held the night after SummerSlam, which was held on Saturday while TakeOver 36 was held on Sunday. The NXT United Kingdom Championship was a men's professional wrestling championship that was created and promoted by the American promotion WWE. It was primarily defended as the top championship of the NXT UK brand division, a sister brand of WWE's developmental territory NXT based in the United Kingdom. Professional wrestling journalist and sports historian Dave Meltzer has assigned his ratings to professional wrestling events since the creation of his publication, the ''Wrestling Observer Newsletter'' in 1982, and named his first 5-star match in 1983. Receiving a 5 or higher star rating is considered by many to be a great achievement. The first match rated more than five stars by Meltzer was Ric Flair vs. Ricky Steamboat in 1989. The highest-ever rating is seven stars, awarded to Kazuchika Okada vs. Kenny Omega at Dominion 6.9 in Osaka-jo Hall in June 2018. The ''Wrestling Observer Newsletter'' (''WON'') is a newsletter that covers professional wrestling and mixed martial arts. Founded in print in 1982 by Dave Meltzer, the ''Wrestling Observer'' website merged with Bryan Alvarez's ''Figure Four Weekly'' website in 2008, becoming ''Wrestling Observer Figure Four Online''. The newsletter is often considered the first "dirt sheet", which is a wrestling publication covering the art from a real-life perspective. The 16 Carat Gold Tournament is an annual single-elimination tournament produced by the Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw) promotion. The sixteen-man tournament was first conceived by wXw in 2006 and has been held every year since then with the exception of the 2021 edition which was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
