Ilari Seppälä
Ilari Seppälä (born 27 March 1993) is a Finnish professional basketball player who plays as a point guard for Hungarian club Kecskeméti TE, and the Finland national basketball team. Professional career Born in Lapua, Seppälä played in youth teams of local Korikobrat, and started his professional career with Kouvot in Korisliiga in 2009. After a stint with Bisons Loimaa, where they also competed in VTB United League, Seppälä returned to Kouvot in 2016 and won the Finnish championship there. Next season he joined Kataja and repeated as Finnish champion. He also played with Kataja in Basketball Champions League and FIBA Europe Cup. In 2019, he joined Aix Maurienne in French LNB Pro B, and averaged nearly 15 points per game in his second year with the team. During the 2021–22 season, Seppälä played for Argeș Pitești in Romanian Liga Națională, averaging 10.3 points and 4.8 assists per game. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the Basketball positions, five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position and is usually the shortest player on the court. Point guards are expected to control the pace of the game. They effectively "run" the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. Generally, point guards are expected to be proficient in passing the ball and being able to get Assist (basketball), assists to teammates. In a pick and roll offense, the point guard typically moves off of screens to facilitate the ball to a Power forward, big. Likewise, point guards can also shoot off of screens if given separation. Kobrat
Kobrat is a Finland, Finnish professional basketball team from Lapua. The team plays in Korisliiga, the highest tier of Finnish basketball. History The club was founded in 1989 as 'Lapuan Koripojat', shortly 'LaKoPo', but was renamed 'Korikobrat' in 2000. The team is playing in the Korisliiga league since the 2012–13 season. The 2016–17 Basketball Champions League was the inaugural season of the Basketball Champions League (BCL), a European professional sports, professional basketball competition for sports club, clubs that was launched by FIBA. Arttu Seppälä (born 18 March 1987) is a Finnish former professional football player. He formerly played for KPV and in the 2009 season on loan for VPS Vaasa from FC Inter Turku. Later Seppälä has worked as a cartoon drawer and as a host. Since 2018, he has also played football for SJK-Apollo in Finnish seventh-tier Kutonen. EuroBasket 2022
The EuroBasket 2022 was the 41st edition of the EuroBasket championship organized by FIBA Europe. It was the first since it was agreed it would take place every four years, with a similar system of qualification as for the FIBA Basketball World Cup. It was originally scheduled to take place between 2 and 19 September 2021, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent postponement of the 2020 Summer Olympics to 2021, it was postponed to September 2022. The Liga Națională de Baschet Masculin (LNBM) () is the top-tier professional basketball league of Romania. The winner of the league each season is crowned the Romanian national champion. Founded in 1950, the league consists of 24 teams playing in three different divisions. The LNB Pro B, commonly known as Pro B, is the second-tier level men's professional basketball league in France. It is the second division of the Ligue Nationale de Basket (LNB), which has organized the league since the year 1987.
