Igor Zonjić
Igor Zonjić ( sr-cyrl, Игор Зоњић; born 16 October 1991) is a Serbian-born Montenegrin professional footballer. Club career After playing in the youth teams of Partizan and Obilić, Zonjić started his professional career with Banat Zrenjanin in the 2009–10 season. He made 76 appearances and scored three goals in the Serbian First League during his three-year tenure at the club. On 30 July 2012, Zonjić signed a four-year contract with Partizan, but was immediately loaned to Teleoptik. He made 27 appearances and scored one goal for the Opticians during the 2012–13 Serbian First League. International career Although born in Serbia, Zonjić represented Montenegro at Under-19 and Under-21 level. The 2010–11 Serbian First League was the sixth season of the league under its current name. It started on 14 August 2010 and concluded on 15 June 2011. BASK won the title and Radnički 1923 finished as runners-up, with both clubs earning promotion to the top flight. BASK later ceded its 2011–12 Serbian SuperLiga spot to third-placed Novi Pazar for financial reasons and was administratively relegated to the Serbian League Belgrade. This decision allowed Kolubara to avoid relegation. Zemun, Big Bull Radnički and Dinamo Vranje were relegated to their respective Serbian League groups. 2013–14 Serbian First League
The Serbian First League () is the second-highest football league in Serbia. The league is operated by the Serbian FA. Sixteen teams competed in this league for the 2013–14 season. Two teams were promoted to the Serbian Superliga while the 3rd placed team played in the play-offs against the 14th team in the Super liga for the first time. Four teams were relegated to the Serbian League, the third-highest division overall in the Serbian football league system. Napredak Kruševac won the title and Čukarički finished as runners-up, with both clubs earning promotion to the top flight. The third-placed Voždovac was later administratively promoted to the Serbian SuperLiga to fill the vacant spot left by the dissolution of Hajduk Kula, which saw Teleoptik avoid relegation. Serbian First League
The Serbian First League (), referred to as the Mozzart Bet First League for sponsorship reasons, is the second tier in professional Serbia's football league. The league was formed in 2005, following a reshuffle of the second tier Serbo-Montenegrin divisions. It is operated by the Football Association of Serbia. Format The league is usually formed by 16 clubs which play all against one another twice, once at home, once away. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the Football Association of Serbia completed a restructure of the league system, and in season 2020/2021 that meant 18 clubs would be competing in the Serbian First League, the number of clubs will go back to the usual 16 following the conclusion of the 2020-2021 season.
