Igor Simić
Igor Simić (, ; born 25 May 1986) is a Kosovo Serb politician who was a deputy in the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo. He is a vice president and the spokesperson of the Serb List, a Serb minority party in Kosovo. Early life and career He was born to a Serb family in 1986 in Titova Mitrovica (Kosovska Mitrovica / Mitrovica) which at the time was a part of the SFR Yugoslavia. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics, University of Priština with the temporary seat in North Mitrovica and later he did doctoral studies at the same university and received his PhD and defended his doctoral dissertation in on the topic of the Community of Serb Municipalities. Currently he is an assistant at the Faculty of Economics, University of Priština and a member of the council at the Faculty of Law of the same university. Assembly Of The Republic Of Kosovo
The Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo (; sr-Cyrl-Latn, Скупштина Републике Косово, Skupština Republike Kosovo) or the Kuvendi, is the unicameral legislature of the Republic of Kosovo that is directly elected by the people every four years. North Kosovo
North Kosovo (, ); also known as the Ibar Kolašin (, or ''Kollashini i Ibrit''); earlier Old Kolašin, (, or ''Kollashini i Vjetër'') and colloquially known as the North (, ) is a region in the northern part of Kosovo, generally understood as a group of four municipalities with ethnic Kosovo Serbs majority: North Mitrovica, Leposavić, Zvečan and Zubin Potok. 2019 Kosovan Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections were held in Kosovo on 6 October 2019. The main opposition parties received the most votes, led by Vetëvendosje and the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK). Oliver Ivanović ( sr-cyr, Оливер Ивановић; 1 April 1953 – 16 January 2018) was a Kosovo Serb politician. Ivanović served as the State Secretary of the Ministry for Kosovo and Metohija from 2008 to 2012 and was also a member of the Coordination Center for Kosovo and Metohija from 2001 to 2008. He was assassinated by unknown perpetrators on 16 January 2018 in North Mitrovica. Early life and career Ivanović was born in Rznić, a village near Dečani in the west of SAP Kosovo, FPR Yugoslavia (now Kosovo), on 1 April 1953. His father, Bogdan, was a history professor, and his mother, Olga, was a professor of Serbian language and literature. He also had a brother, Miroslav, and a sister, Nataša.
