Igor Miličić Jr.
Igor Miličić Jr. (born August 27, 2002) is a Croatian-Polish basketball player for the Philadelphia 76ers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Tennessee Volunteers, Charlotte 49ers and Virginia Cavaliers. Early life and high school Miličić Jr. played for Ratiopharm Ulm in the German top-tier Basketball Bundesliga, as well as the German third division, and averaged 13.3 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists while making 36 3-pointers in 21 games. Ultimately, he decided to pursue the college basketball route, committing to play for the Virginia Cavaliers. College career Virginia Miličić Jr. appeared in 16 games and averaged 2.1 points per game in the 2021-22 season, after which he entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal. 2024–25 Arkansas Razorbacks Men's Basketball Team
The 2024–25 Arkansas Razorbacks men's basketball team represented the University of Arkansas during the 2024–25 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team was led by first year head coach John Calipari, who accepted the job after he resigned from his position at Kentucky after 15 years. Arkansas played its home games at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville, Arkansas as a member of the Southeastern Conference. Igor Miličić (born June 9, 1976) is a Croatian-Polish professional basketball coach and former player who is head coach for Napoli Basket of the Italian Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) and the Poland men's national basketball team. Professional playing career Miličić was one of the most talented players of the Split youth teams in the 1990-s. As the starting playmaker he was one the leaders of the Croatia national under-18 basketball team that won silver at the 1994 FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship. After suffering a serious injury and a long recovery time, he moved to the Polish Basketball League. In Poland he became one of the best players of the league. National team career Miličić was named in the roster of the Croatia men's national basketball team in February 1998 for a FIBA EuroBasket 1999 qualification match against Netherlands. The EuroBasket 2022 qualification was a basketball competition that was played from November 2017 to February 2021, to determine the 20 FIBA Europe nations who would join the automatically qualified co-hosts Czech Republic, Georgia, Italy, and Germany at the EuroBasket 2022 finals tournament. Pre-Qualifiers The EuroBasket 2022 Pre-Qualifiers were played by 17 teams over three rounds. The best eight teams advanced to the EuroBasket 2022 Qualifiers.
