Ignazio Spalla
Ignazio Spalla (best known as Pedro Sanchez; 5 May 1924 – 9 February 1995) was an Italian film actor. Born in Siena, Spalla was mainly active in Spaghetti Westerns, usually playing roles of Mexicans, gunfighters and outlaws. His first roles of weight were in 1965, in Marino Girolami's ''Bullet in the Flesh'' and in Giorgio Ferroni's ''Blood for a Silver Dollar''. In the 1970s he focused his activity in the subgenre of comic spaghetti, and his career basically declined together with Italo-Western. Outside this genre, Spalla's credits include Eduardo De Filippo's '' Shoot Loud, Louder... I Don't Understand'', Lucio Fulci's '' The Conspiracy of Torture'', and Pasquale Festa Campanile's ''Hitch-Hike''. Yuliy Borisovich Briner (russian: link=no, Юлий Борисович Бринер; July 11, 1920 – October 10, 1985), known professionally as Yul Brynner, was a Russian-born actor. He was best known for his portrayal of King Mongkut in the Rodgers and Hammerstein stage musical '' The King and I'', for which he won two Tony Awards, and later an Academy Award for Best Actor for the film adaptation. He played the role 4,625 times on stage and became known for his shaved head, which he maintained as a personal trademark long after adopting it for ''The King and I''. ''Hitch-Hike'' ( it, Autostop rosso sangue, lit=Blood-red hitchhiking), also known as ''Death Drive'' is an Italian crime film directed by Pasquale Festa Campanile. The film stars Franco Nero and Corinne Cléry as a couple in a troubled marriage, and David Hess as a fugitive who takes them hostage. The musical score was written by Ennio Morricone. The film is based on Peter Kane's novel ''The Violence and the Fury''. Plot Walter Mancini (Nero), an alcoholic reporter, and his wife Eve (Cléry) are on a road trip with a trailer heading back to Los Angeles. Vengeance ( it, Joko - Invoca Dio... e muori, german: Fünf blutige Stricke) is a 1968 Spaghetti Western film written and directed by Anthony Dawson. It starred Richard Harrison, Mariangela Giordano and Luciano Pigozzi. Plot Joko, Richie, Domingo and Mendoza hatch a plan to steal gold from bandits. Domingo, however, betrays them by revealing the attempted theft to the bandits. Joko, Ricky and Mendoza are thus discovered during the robbery: Mendoza dies while trying to cover the escape of his friends. Ricky escapes with the gold but is captured by 5 bandits and tortured in an attempt to be revealed where he was to meet with Joko.
