Ignace Ziadé
Ignatius Ziadé (also Ignace Ziade; , 26 January 1906 in Herharaya, Lebanon – 31 March 1994 in Beirut, Lebanon) was the Archbishop of the Maronite Catholic Archeparchy of Aleppo and the Maronite Catholic Archeparchy of Beirut. Life Igntius Ziadé was born in Herharaya in the Keserwan District, Mount Lebanon Governorate, in Lebanon. He was consecrated to priesthood at the age of 23 on 26 May 1929 in Syria. On 27 April 1946 he was appointed Bishop of the Maronite Catholic Archeparchy of Aleppo. His episcopal ordination was celebrated on 24 November 1946 by then-List of Maronite Patriarchs, Maronite Patriarch of Antioch Anthony Peter Arida, and his co-consecrators were François Ayoub, Archeparch of Cyprus and Pietro Dib, Eparch of Cairo. On 26 January 1952 Ziadé he was appointed to the seat Maronite Archbishop of Beirut. At the age of 80 years Ignatus Ziadé presented his resignation on 4 April 1986. Pietro Dib
Pietro Dib (13 June 1881 in Dlepta, Lebanon – 4 November 1965) was a Maronite bishop of the Maronite Catholic Eparchy of Cairo. Life Pietro Dib received his ordination to the priesthood on 16 March 1907. In 1946 he was appointed by Pope Pius XII as Titular Bishop of Tarsus of Maronites and Bishop of the Eparchy of Cairo for the Maronites. Bechara Boutros Al-Rahi
Bechara Boutros Al-Ra'i (or Raï; ; ; ) (born 25 February 1940) is the 77th Maronite Patriarch of Antioch, and head of the Maronite Church, a position he has held since 15 March 2011, succeeding Patriarch Nasrallah Boutros Sfeir. Rahi was made a cardinal on 24 November 2012 by Pope Benedict XVI. He is a member of the Mariamite Maronite Order. Early life and education Mar Bechara Boutros Al-Ra'i was born in Hemlaya, Matn District, Lebanon on 25 February 1940. He attended Collège Notre Dame de Jamhour, a Jesuit school in Lebanon. He entered the Mariamite Maronite Order on 31 July 1962, and was ordained as a priest on 3 September 1967. From 1967 to 1975 he was responsible for the Arabic programs of Vatican Radio. Paul-Emile Saadé (9 July 1933 – 21 September 2022) was a Lebanese Maronite Catholic prelate who was Emeritus Maronite Eparch of the Maronite Catholic Eparchy of Batroun. Abd Allah (), also spelled Abdullah, Abdhullah, Abdellah, Abdollah, Abdallah, Abdulla, Abdalla and many others, is an Arabic theophoric name meaning ''servant of God'' or "God's follower". Elie Farah (27 December 1909 in Kafar Berhem, Lebanon – 22 July 2003) was Archbishop of the Maronite Catholic Archeparchy of Cyprus from 1954 to 1986. Life Elie Farah received on April 9, 1935 the sacrament of ordination to the priesthood. On 16 April 1954 he was appointed by Pope Pius XII Archbishop of the Maronite Archeparchy of Cyprus with headquarters in Nicosia. His episcopal ordination occurred on September 26, 1954, by the former Archbishop of Tyre and future Patriarch of Antioch of the Maronites Paul Peter Meouchi on 26 September 1954 and his co-consecrators were Eparch of Cairo Pietro Dib and the Archeparch of Beirut Ignace Ziadé. Keserwan District (, transliteration: ''Qaḍā' Kisrawān'') is a district (''qadaa'') in Keserwan-Jbeil Governorate, Lebanon, to the northeast of Lebanon's capital Beirut. Anthony II Peter Arida (August 2, 1863 – May 19, 1955) (or ''Selim Ben Abdel Ahad Arida'', ''Antoine Boutros Arida'', ) was the 73rd Maronite Christianity in Lebanon, Maronite List of Maronite Patriarchs, Patriarch of Antioch from 1932 until his death in 1955.
