If My World Stopped Turning
Ireland was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 with the song "If My World Stopped Turning", written by Brian McFadden and Jonathan Shorten, and performed by Chris Doran. Boyzone were an Irish boy band created in 1993 by the talent manager Louis Walsh. Before even recording any material, Boyzone made an appearance on RTÉ's ''The Late Late Show (Ireland), The Late Late Show''. Ryan Tubridy (born 28 May 1973) is an Irish broadcaster. He currently presents the weekday mid-morning programme ''The Ryan Tubridy Show'' on Virgin Radio UK, as well as a weekend programme on Sundays. RTÉ 2fm, or 2FM as it is more commonly referred to, is an Irish radio station operated by RTÉ. The station specialises in current popular music and chart hits and is the second national radio station in Ireland. Ellen Pamela McCafferty (28 March 1944 – 21 August 2024) was an Irish journalist, playwright, civil rights campaigner and feminist. John Spillane
John Spillane (born 1961) is a singer-songwriter from Cork, Ireland. Musical collaborations and beginnings In Spillane's early career he was involved with several bands but most notably were Nomos and The Stargazers. Playing with whistle player Noel Shine, Spillane spent several years playing with the local jazz vocal group The Stargazers.
