''Ïewduh'' (English: ''Market'') is a 2019 Khasi feature film directed by Pradip Kurbah. The film narrates the daily lives of the people involved with the market and their co-existence with different religions and communities. Pradip Kurbah
Pradip Kurbah is an Indian filmmaker from Meghalaya. He is a recipient of three National Film Awards. His directorial debut was in 2013 with the critically acclaimed film '' Ri: Homeland of Uncertainty''. As of 2025, his feature film '' Ha Lyngkha Bneng'' got selection for Main Competition at the 47th Moscow International Film Festival. Career Kurbah does not have a degree in filmmaking. So, he decided to come to Mumbai and started assisting filmmakers and later in Hyderabad. Seven or eight years in (from 1992 to 2000), he was a self-taught filmmaker. He assisted on '' Raju Chacha'' (2000) produced by Ajay Devgn. '' Ri: Homeland of Uncertainty'' (2013) is his directorial debut and earned him a National Film Award. 67th National Film Awards
The 67th National Film Awards were announced at a press meet on 22 March 2021 to honour the best Indian films certified in India between 1 January and 31 December 2019. The awards ceremony, at which the Directorate of Film Festivals presents its annual National Film Awards to honour the best in Indian cinema, was originally slated to be held on 3 May 2020. It was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and was presented on 25 October 2021. 24th Busan International Film Festival
The 24th Busan International Film Festival was held from October 3 to October 12, 2019 at the Busan Cinema Center in Busan, South Korea. A total of 299 films from 85 countries were screened at the festival, including 118 world premieres and 27 international premieres. A new "Icons" section was created to introduce the latest films made by iconic filmmakers from around the world in order to focus on both the directors and their works. The Wide Angle section on Animation Showcase and Cinekids have been integrated into A Window on Asian Cinema and World Cinema sections. This Busan International Film Festival also screened 10 of the most historically meaningful and remarkable classic films to commemorate the centennial anniversary of the Korean cinema. The 1st Eikhoigi Imphal International Film Festival took place from 2 to 6 April, 2022 at Imphal, Manipur. The festival had screened 19 films from India and abroad with Manipur State Film Development Society, Palace Compound as its venue. National Film Award For Best Sound Design
The National Film Award for Best Sound Design is one of the National Film Awards presented annually by the National Film Development Corporation of India. It is one of several awards presented for feature films and awarded with Rajat Kamal (Silver Lotus). The Kim Jiseok Award () is an annual film award, presented by the Busan International Film Festival The Busan International Film Festival (BIFF; ), formerly the Pusan International Film Festival (PIFF), held annually in Haeundae District, Busan, South Korea, is one of the most significant film festivals in Asia. Khasi Language
Khasi () is an Austroasiatic language with just over a million speakers in north-east India, primarily the Khasi people in the state of Meghalaya. It has associate official status in some districts of this state. The closest relatives of Khasi are the other languages in the Khasic group of the Shillong Plateau; these include Pnar, Lyngngam and War. Khasi is written using the Latin script. Firstpost is an Indian news website owned by Network18 Group, which also runs CNN-News18 and CNBC TV18. It has posted misinformation on multiple occasions. The Network 18 group was originally owned by Raghav Bahl. In January 2012, the group received an investment from Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries through a rights issue of up to .
