An icon, from the Greek word for image, is a religious painting in the tradition of Christianity. Icon
An icon () is a religious work of art, most commonly a painting, in the cultures of the Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, Catholic Church, Catholic, and Lutheranism, Lutheran churches. The most common subjects include Jesus, Mary, mother of Jesus, Mary, saints, and angels. Although especially associated with portrait-style images concentrating on one or two main figures, the term also covers most of the religious images in a variety of artistic media produced by Eastern Christianity, including narrative scenes, usually from the Bible or the lives of saints. Icon (Stargate SG-1)
The eighth season of ''Stargate SG-1'', an American-Canadian military science fiction television series, began airing on July 9, 2004, on the Sci Fi channel. The eighth season concluded on February 22, 2005, after 20 episodes on British Sky One, which overtook the Sci Fi Channel in mid-season. No Min-woo
No Min-woo (; born May 29, 1986) is a Japanese-born South Korean actor, musician, singer, songwriter and rapper. He is also known under the stage names ICON and MINUE. He debuted as a drummer in TRAX in 2004, and left the band two years later. In 2008, he began acting in various television series and movies, such as ''Pasta'', '' My Girlfriend is a Nine-Tailed Fox'' and '' Full House Take 2'', and he regularly contributes to movie and drama soundtracks. In 2013, No made a comeback as a singer under the stage name ICON. In 2016 he enlisted in the military, and returned in 2018. ''Icon'' is the debut album by American rock band Icon. It included their biggest metal radio hit song, "On Your Feet". The album was recorded mostly in the summer of 1983, with three additional songs "World War", "Killer Machine" and "Rock'N Roll Maniac" recorded in the winter to replace the two "weakest" songs to make a stronger album. The band toured the United States extensively to support the album, mainly headlining big clubs but also playing with other bands such as Accept and Autograph. The album was re-released the same year with songs 1 and 3 remixed, and a video was made for the remix of "On Your Feet". The album has seen multiple re-releases on CD, in Japan and on the European labels Bear Tracks, AxeKiller and Rock Candy. Icon is an American Rock music, rock band that formed in 1979 and initially disbanded in 1990, but later reformed in 2008. As of 2024, Icon currently consists of all five members of the classic lineup: Dan Wexler (guitar), Stephen Clifford (lead vocals), John Aquilino (guitar), Tracy Wallach (bass) and Pat Dixon (drums).
