Ici Radio-Canada Télé (stylized as ICI Radio-Canada Télé, and sometimes abbreviated as Ici Télé) is a Television in Canada, Canadian Canadian French, French-language terrestrial television, free-to-air television network owned by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (known in French as Société Radio-Canada [SRC]), the national public broadcasting, public broadcaster. Its English-language counterpart is CBC Television. Its headquarters are at Maison Radio-Canada in Montreal, which is also home to the network's flagship station, CBFT-DT, as well as the master control facilities of all of its owned-and-operated stations nationwide. CFHD-DT (channel 47) is an independent multicultural television station in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, owned by Sam Norouzi and his family. The station's studios are located on Christophe Colomb Avenue in Montreal's Ahuntsic district, at the home of the family's production company Mi-Cam Communications. Dumbing down is the deliberate oversimplification of intellectual content in education, literature, cinema, news, video games, and culture.
