Iain McCaig (born March 19, 1957) is an American artist, writer, and filmmaker. Maul (originally Darth Maul) is a character in the ''Star Wars'' franchise created by George Lucas. He first appeared in the prequel film '' Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace'' (1999).
