IX života
''Devet života'' (, stylized as ''IX života'') is the third studio album by Serbian singer Aleksandra Prijović. It was released on digital platforms independently through A Music on 26 June 2023. The album succeeded ''Zvuk tišine'' from 2022. ''Devet života'' was announced with the release of its lead single "Kuća strave" on 22 June. The album features nine tracks, which were produced by Dejan Kostić, Saša Milošević and Bojan Vasić. Prijović's husband, Filip Živojinović, was also involved as a songwriter alongside Dragan Brajović, Marko Stambolija and Aleksandar Tomić. Every song from the album is supported by a music video. ''Devet života'' saw commercial success. It debuted on the official charts in Austria and Switzerland. The track "Dam dam dam" also peaked a top of ''Billboard''s Croatia Songs chart. Aleksandra Prijović
Aleksandra Živojinović ( sr-Cyrl, Александра Живојиновић; born 22 September 1995), better known under her maiden name Aleksandra Prijović ( sr-cyr, Александра Пријовић, links=no), is a Serbian pop-folk singer. Dubbed the "only folk diva of the new generation" by Index.hr, she rose to prominence after placing fourth in the televised singing competition ''Zvezde Granda''. Life and career 1995–2010: Early life and childhood Prijović was born in Sombor, Serbia, but grew up in Beli Manastir in Croatia, where she moved when she was three years old with her mother Borka Mihajlović upon Mihajlović's divorce from Prijović's father Nedeljko Prijović, as well as Bačka Topola. Serbian Language
Serbian (, ) is the standard language, standardized Variety (linguistics)#Standard varieties, variety of the Serbo-Croatian language mainly used by Serbs. Turbo-folk
Turbo-folk is a subgenre of contemporary South Slavs, South Slavic pop music that initially developed in Serbia during the 1990s as a fusion of techno and folk music, folk. The term was an invention of the Montenegro, Montenegrin singer Rambo Amadeus, who jokingly described the aggressive, satirical style of music as "turbo folk". While primarily associated with Serbia, this style is also popular in other former Yugoslav republics.
