Meråker is a municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is part of the Stjørdalen region. Magnar Lundemo
Magnar Lundemo (4 March 1938 in Meråker – 7 January 1987 in Meråker) was a Norwegian cross-country skier and track and field athlete. As a skier he participated in two Olympic Games and placed fourth at the 1962 World Championships. In the athletics he took several national titles, and recorded one nineteenth place at the 1962 European Championships. He was also a coach. Skiing He was national champion in cross-country skiing (15 kilometres) in 1961. He placed fourth in the same event at the Nordic World Ski Championships 1962, and also participated in the 1960 and 1964 Winter Olympics. In 1960 he placed sixteenth in the 30 km event, while in 1964 he placed eighth in the 15 km event and fourth in the 4 × 10 km relay event. Tor Arne Hetland
Tor Arne Hetland (born 12 January 1974) is a Norwegian cross-country skiing coach and a former professional cross-country skier. Hetland was born in Stavanger. He now lives in Trondheim. While active he represented Byåsen IL ski club. He was coached by Ulf Morten Aune. Hetland is and (). World Cup career Hetland began his career in 1990, but only started competing in the World Cup in 1996/97, where he finished 11th in the long distance standings and 46th in the sprint, finishing 30th in the overall standings. The year after he did much worse, coming 42nd in the long distance, and 78th in the sprint, finishing 62nd overall. For the next three seasons he improved his overall standing and became a main contender in the sprint. Marthe Kristoffersen (born 11 August 1989 in Karlsøy Municipality, Karlsøy, Norway) is a Norway, Norwegian cross-country skiing (sport), cross-country skier who has competed since 2006. At the 2010 Winter Olympics, she finished 21st in the and 49th in the event. She was born on the island of Vanna (Troms), Vannøya in Karlsøy Municipality in Troms county, Norway. At the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2009, 2009 World Championship in Liberec, she finished fourth in the 4 × 5 km relay, ninth in the individual sprint, and 12th in the events. She has two World Cup victories, both in 4 × 5 km relays (2008, 2009). Kristoffersen also finished third at a event in Lahti on 8 March 2009.
