ICC Development Awards
The ICC Awards is an International cricket award presented annually by the sport's governing body, ICC. The first awarding ceremony was held on 7 September 2004 in London, England. Between 2009 and 2014 the awards were known as the LG ICC Awards for sponsorship reasons. Virat Kohli holds the record for most awards by an individual with 10 awards, and most appearances in teams with 14 appearances. In Women's section, Ellyse Perry and Smriti Mandhana hold respective records with 6 awards and 9 appearances. International Cricket
International cricket matches are played between the teams representing their nations, administrated by the International Cricket Council. The main forms are Test matches, ODI matches and T20I matches. Most games are played as part of "tours" when one nation travels to another for a number of weeks or months and plays a number of matches of various sorts against the host nation. World Cups featuring several countries at once, are organized by the ICC. The ICC is also responsible for cricket games played at multi-sport events such as Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, African Games, Asian Games, South Asian Games and Pacific Games. Michael Clarke (cricketer)
Michael John Clarke (born 2 April 1981) is an Australian former cricketer. He was List of Australia national cricket captains, captain of the Australia national cricket team, Australian cricket team in both Test cricket, Test and One Day International (ODI) between 2011 and 2015, leading Australia to victory in the 2015 Cricket World Cup. He also served as captain of the Twenty20 International (T20I) side between 2007 and 2010. With his time representing Australia, Clarke won multiple ICC titles with the team: the 2007 Cricket World Cup, the 2015 Cricket World Cup which he was the winning captain, and the 2006 ICC Champions Trophy. Nicknamed "Pup", Clarke was a right-handed middle-order batsman, an occasional left-arm orthodox spin bowler and also a Slip (cricket), slip catcher. Ravi Ashwin
Ravichandran Ashwin (; ) (born 17 September 1986) is an Indian cricketer. He is a right-arm off spin bowler and a lower order batter. Widely regarded as one of the most prolific spinners of all time, he represented the Indian cricket team and was part of the Indian team that won the 2011 Cricket World Cup and the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy, 2013 Champions Trophy. He plays for Tamil Nadu cricket team, Tamil Nadu and South Zone cricket team, South Zone in domestic cricket and for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
