ICC Academy
The ICC Academy (ICCA) is a cricket academy located in Dubai Sports City, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, that is managed and administered by the International Cricket Council. It was opened in 2009 under Rod Marsh, who was appointed as Director. History ICCA's facilities includes two ovals, each with ten turf pitches, outdoor turf and synthetic practice facilities, indoor practice facilities including Hawk Eye technology and a cricket-specific gymnasium. This Academy was planned and is managed by the International Cricket Council (ICC). The two cricket grounds are installed with floodlights. The opening was delayed until 2009. The ICCA was finally opened by Sharad Pawar, President ICC, Alan Isaac, VP, ICC and members of Dubai Sports City in October 2010. The ICCA was used for the 2014 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup. International Cricket Council
The International Cricket Council (ICC) is the global Sports governing body, governing body of cricket. It was founded as the Imperial Cricket Conference in 1909 by representatives from Australia, England, and South Africa. In 1965, the body was renamed as the International Cricket Conference and adopted its current name in 1987. ICC has its headquarters in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Pakistan National Cricket Team
The Pakistan men's national cricket team represents Pakistan in international cricket. It is controlled by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the governing body for cricket in Pakistan, which is a Full Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC). Matthew Henry Cross (born 15 October 1992) is a Scottish cricketer. He is a right-handed wicket-keeper batter and plays for Scotland national cricket team. Born in Aberdeen, Cross played cricket and football during his early years. He became part of the Scotland cricket set-up in the junior age group and progressed up the ranks. Edmund Christopher Joyce (born 22 September 1978) is an Irish cricket coach and former cricketer who played for both the Ireland and England national cricket teams. Anshuman Rath
Anshuman Rath (born 5 November 1997) is a Hong Kong cricketer who previously captained the Hong Kong national cricket team. In September 2019, he retired from the Hong Kong national team to pursue a career in India. In August 2021, he became eligible to play as a local player in India as an Indian passport holder, and had represented Odisha since the 2021–22 Indian domestic cricket season. William Thomas Stuart Porterfield (born 6 September 1984) is an Irish former cricketer and a former captain of the Ireland cricket team. He played first-class cricket for Gloucestershire and Warwickshire. Khurram Khan (born 21 June 1971) is a Pakistani-born cricketer who played for the United Arab Emirates national cricket team. In 2014, Khurram became the oldest player to score an ODI hundred as his unbeaten 132 helped his team to a six-wicket victory over Afghanistan in Dubai. Nawroz Mangal
Nawroz Mangal (born Nawroz Khan Mangal) (نوروز خان منګل; born 28 November 1984) is a former cricketer from Afghanistan. Mangal is a former captain of the Afghanistan national cricket team who is known for leading Afghanistan to the prestigious ODI status. In January 2017, he retired from international cricket and became the national chief selector for Afghanistan.
