He was the director of the Ukrainian Center of Cultural Research under the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine. Biography Hrytsenko was born in Vatutine, a city in Zvenyhorodka Raion, Cherkasy Oblast (region) of the former Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic. Hrytsenko is a specialist in dialectology of the Ukrainian language, typology of Slavic dialect systems, theory of linguistic geography, dialectal textology and textography, history of linguistics. Nikolai Olimpievich Gritsenko (russian: Николай Олимпиевич Гриценко, uk, Микола Олімпійович Гриценко; 24 July 1912 – 8 December 1979) was a Soviet and Russian theater and film actor. He appeared in more than 30 films between 1942 and 1978. Gritsenko also was member of the Vakhtangov Theatre company in Moscow, Russia. There he was designated Honored Artist of the RSFSR and People's Artist of the USSR. He died on 8 December 1979, and was buried in the Novodevichy Cemetery, in Moscow, Russia. Nikolay Nikolayevich Gritsenko (Russian:Николай Николаевич Гриценко; 8 May 1856, Novokuznetsk - 8 December 1900, Menton, France) was a Russian painter who specialized in maritime art and seascapes.
